Launching Screena Portal backend

Please follow the steps to install Screena Portal in this order:

1. Preparing your system

2. Installing Screena Portal backend

3. Launching Screena Portal backend (you are here)

4. Installing the web server

5. Configuring Screena Portal

Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the <Screena portal home> directory. Run the following command:

nohup java -Xms2048m -Xmx4096m -Dproperties.path=<Screena portal home> -Dfile.encoding=UTF-8 -Djasypt.encryptor.password=screena -jar screena-portal-1.0-spring-boot.jar & < /dev/null

• At first launch, all the database collections with their associated indexes will be created, including the default admin user.

• The apigw.pid file will contain the process number.
